About Me
Born in an eminent family of Coochbehar, spent formative years at Kolkata. Father Late Manindra Chandra Bhaumik, retired as Deputy Chief Engineer of W.B. State Electricity Board. Married to Sharmistha. Two daughters both professionally placed & married.
After graduating with B.Com (Hons) from Goenka College of Commerce & Business Administration, completed MBA from Indian Institute of Social Welfare & Business Management majoring in Personnel Management.
Worked in several reputed companies. Last employment: Personnel Manager at ESAB India Limited (formerly known as Indian Oxygen Limited). After a twenty-year professional career, pursued business interests including HR consultancy, a retail outlet of HPCL, and a travel house.
Was founder Director of NBTT Travel Solution Pvt. Ltd., Government of India approved tour operator.

Working as Secretary, Governing Council of Calcutta Rescue founded by Dr. Jack Preger in 1979, which is a Calcutta based NGO dedicated for uplifting Marginalized Communities.
Member of Rotary Club of Metro South (Secretary Elect 2024-2025).
Cultural Work
Passionate about Bengali recitation –student of Late Kazi Sabyasachi. Was associated with AIR Yuvabani & various TV Channels, HMV (Saregama) launched several audio cassettes of recitation between 1995 to 2000. Performed on stage regularly from 1995 to 2005.
Activities @ Calcutta Club
Calcutta Club is iconic among the social clubs in the city and I feel immensely proud and privileged to be a member. I have been elected as a committee member since 2020 – 2021 and served as follows, 2020 – 2021 – Chairman Sports and House Building, 2021 – 2022 – Chairman Sports and Food, 2022 – 2023 – Chairman Sports and Projects, 2023 – 2024 – Chairman Statutory Compliance. Calcutta club is our second home and let us all endeavour to make it homely and also maintain its great heritage.
